Day 1
Day 1 The Claridiges - New Delhi .

Meal Plan: Bed And Breakfast – Room Category: Superior Room.

You fly from London and arrive in Delhi, where you will be met at the arrivals lounge and transferred to the hotel.

The day is free for you to relax and acclimatise.

Day 2
Day 2 The Claridiges - New Delhi 

Meal Plan: Bed And Breakfast – Room Category: Superior Room.

There is so much to see in Delhi it’s hard to know where to start. A rickshaw cycle ride through the Old Walled City and the bustling narrow streets of Chandri Chowk bazaar is a great introduction to this fascinating country. Nearby landmarks include the 17th century Jama Masjid, one of the oldest mosques in India and the huge Red Fort as well as the India Gate and the Presidential Estate.

Day 3
Day 3 The Trident - Jaipur.

Meal Plan: Bed And Breakfast    Room Category: Deluxe Garden view room.

This morning you will enjoy the drive to Jaipur where you can check in at your hotel, The Trident.

The famed walled city of Jaipur is still home to the current royal family.

The pink city as it is called gets its name from the colour of the buildings; every building in the city centre is painted with a sandstone hue which reflects pink in the sun.

Day 4
Day 4 The Trident - Jaipur

Meal Plan: Bed And Breakfast    Room Category: Deluxe Garden view room.

This morning we visit many of Jaipur’s highlights starting with the beautiful Amber Fort. We have several photo stops this afternoon including the Hawa Mahal. This monument is one the iconic facades of Rajasthani Architecture, also the Royal Observatory and the City Palace where the Jaipur royalty still resides.

Just out of the city is the Dera Amer Elephant Sanctuary where previously working elephants are given a more peaceful, natural life away from the tourist and wedding trade. Here you can help feed and water these magnificent animals and accompany them on their daily walks around the forest.

Day 5
Day 5 The Kipling Lodge- Ranthambore.

Meal Plan: Full board     Room Category: Superior terrace room.

Before leaving Jaipur, we make a visit to Ladli – a non-profit initiative that provides a supportive hand to underprivileged and homeless children fulfilling their long-term needs for education, skills and emotional support as well as taking care of their immediate needs such as nutrition, health and shelter. Interact with the children here who would love to practice their English-speaking skills with you!

From here you drive to Ranthambore National Park.

Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, at the junction of the Aravalis and the Vindhyas, is a unique example of natural and historical richness, standing out conspicuously in the vast, arid and denuded tract of eastern Rajasthan.

Ranthambore is perhaps one of the best places in the world to see a tiger in the wild.

The Reserve has diverse topography ranging from flat topped hills to rugged outcrops, from wide valleys to narrow rocky gorges.

In the evening, we will have the opportunity to discuss the park with one of the resident naturalists.

Day 6
Day 6 The Kipling Lodge- Ranthambore

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Ranthambore National Park.

The park contains a huge variety of mammals, birds and reptiles as well as its more famous residents.

You return to the lodge after tiger tracking by 10am for a well deserved breakfast before having the opportunity to relax and enjoy the pool / spa and other facilities at lodge.

Following lunch you leave again for your afternoon safari in search of the ever elusive tiger.

Day 7
Day 7 The Kipling Lodge- Ranthambore

Meal Plan: Full board     Room Category: Superior terrace room.

Morning game drive in Ranthambore National Park before returning to the lodge.

Time to relax once more back at the lodge or visit the local area including villages, schools or the temple on top of the fort.

Alternatively the lodge gardens are full of exotic birds and plant life for you to enjoy and photograph.

Day 8
Day 8 The Trident- Agra.

Meal Plan: Bed And Breakfast    Room Category: Superior room.

This morning we drive to Agra. En route we visit Abhaneri and will walk around the amazing Chand Baori. Built in the 10th century, this incredible step well was a practical solution to the water problem in the area.

Agra, previously served for many years as the capital of the vast Mughal Empire. The city resides in India’s famed Golden Triangle, and draws tourists to the Taj Mahal and other historic sites that reflect Agra’s rich history.    

In the evening, visit Mehtab Bagh to get a stunning view of the Taj  from across the Yamuna river.

Day 9
Day 9 The Claridges - New Delhi.

Meal Plan: Bed And Breakfast    Room Category: Superior room.

Nothing compares to the surreal beauty of the Taj Mahal at sunrise, and we have the opportunity to witness this magical scene.  Step inside this eternal symbol of love and inspiration; explore the intricate mosaics, precious designs and perfect architectural symmetry of this iconic monument.

We can also explore Agra Fort and learn the history of this fascinating site which was the home of the Mughal Emperors and their many courtiers during Agra’s era as capital.

From here we will drive back to Delhi and stay at Claridges in preparation for the early morning flight the following day.

Day 10
Day 10 Kings Lodge - Bandhavgargh

Meal Plan: Full Board – Room Category: COTTAGE ROOM

This morning you transfer to the airport.

Fly Spice Jet (SG) Flight no. 2871 departing DELHI at 1010 hrs arriving JABALPUR at 1200 hrs.

Drive to Bandhavgarh National Park (165km) and check in at your lodge.

Situated in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, Bandhavgarh National Park is a 448 km2 renowned tiger reserve. Nestled among the picturesque Vindhya and Satpura ranges, this is one of India’s most beautiful national parks. The dramatic landscape features tropical forests and woodlands, and steep rocky hills with flat grasslands in the valleys below.

Day 11
Day 11 Kings Lodge - Bandhavgargh

Meal Plan: Full Board – Room Category: COTTAGE ROOM

Morning and afternoon game drives in Bandhavgarh National Park.

Bandhavgarh supports one of the highest densities of tigers on the Subcontinent. Its hilly open terrain includes many large grassland meadows that offer good chances of sightings. The density of its big cat population has made Bandhavgarh world famous. The Park is also home to a large variety of mammals: leopard, chital (spotted deer), Sambar deer, nilgai, wild boar, chinkara, sloth bear, rhesus macaque, grey langur, jungle cat, hyena, porcupine, jackal, fox, and wild dog. Your stay includes morning and afternoon game drives in Bandhavgarh National Park.

Day 12
Day 12 Singinawa Jungle Lodge - Kanha

Meal Plan: Full Board – Room Category: COTTAGE.

Drive to Kanha National Park (215km).

Kanha is one of India’s largest national parks, covering 1945 km², and is located in the Maikal Hills of the Satpura Hills range in the south eastern part of the state of Madhya Pradesh. The Park has beautiful areas of sal forests, large bamboo stretches and lush green meadows.

Day 13
Day 13 Singinawa Jungle Lodge - Kanha

Morning and afternoon game drives in Kanha National Park.

Kanha is not only famous for its Tiger sightings, but also for the highly endangered central Indian race of the Swamp Deer or Barasingha. Once down to  less than 70, their population today is between 400-500 animals. Other herbivores found here are Chital, Sambar and the Muntjac, which along with Wild Boar form the main prey base for Tiger. Parts of Kanha are good habitat for the Dhole or Indian Wild Dog. Birdwatching here is nonetheless a rewarding experience. Of the species to be seen in the Park are the Crested Hawk Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle, Large Raquet-tailed Drongo, Paradise Flycatcher, Golden Oriole, several species of cuckoos, nightjars and owls. The grasslands are the habitat for birds like the Zitting Cisiticola, Jungle Prinias and Painted Partridge along with seed-eaters such as the various species of munia.

Day 14
Day 14 Singinawa Jungle Lodge - Kanha

You have a final morning game drive in Kanha National Park ( circa 6 hours ) and then you can relax this afternoon before your travelling day tomorrow  or choose from one of the other activities available such as a visit to a local village or a walking or bicycle tour.

Day 15
Day 15 Transfer to the Nagpur Airport

After a final morning enjoying the wildlife around the lodge you transfer by road to Nagpur for your flight to Delhi departing at 1720 hours and arriving at 1905 hours.

On arrival at Delhi, change your flight for London.
