This morning you will enjoy the drive to Jaipur where you can check in at your hotel, The Trident.

The famed walled city of Jaipur is still home to the current royal family.

Just out of the city is the Dera Amer Elephant Sanctuary where previously working elephants are given a more peaceful, natural life away from the tourist and wedding trade. Here you can help feed and water these magnificent animals and accompany them on their daily walks around the forest.

Day 05:
Day 5 The Kipling Lodge- Ranthambore.

Meal Plan: Full board     Room Category: Superior terrace room.

Before leaving Jaipur, we make a visit to Ladli – a non-profit initiative that provides a supportive hand to underprivileged and homeless children fulfilling their long-term needs for education, skills and emotional support as well as taking care of their immediate needs such as nutrition, health and shelter. Interact with the children here who would love to practice their English-speaking skills with you!

From here you drive to Ranthambore National Park.

Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, at the junction of the Aravalis and the Vindhyas, is a unique example of natural and historical richness, standing out conspicuously in the vast, arid and denuded tract of eastern Rajasthan.

Ranthambore is perhaps one of the best places in the world to see a tiger in the wild.

The Reserve has diverse topography ranging from flat topped hills to rugged outcrops, from wide valleys to narrow rocky gorges.

In the evening, we will have the opportunity to discuss the park with one of the resident naturalists.

Day 06:
Day 6 The Kipling Lodge- Ranthambore

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Ranthambore National Park.

The park contains a huge variety of mammals, birds and reptiles as well as its more famous residents.

You return to the lodge after tiger tracking by 10am for a well deserved breakfast before having the opportunity to relax and enjoy the pool / spa and other facilities at lodge.

Following lunch you leave again for your afternoon safari in search of the ever elusive tiger.

Day 07:
Day 7 The Kipling Lodge- Ranthambore

Meal Plan: Full board     Room Category: Superior terrace room.

Morning game drive in Ranthambore National Park before returning to the lodge.

Time to relax once more back at the lodge or visit the local area including villages, schools or the temple on top of the fort.

Day 08:
Day 8 The Trident- Agra.

Meal Plan: Bed And Breakfast    Room Category: Superior room.

This morning we drive to Agra. En route we visit Abhaneri and will walk around the amazing Chand Baori. Built in the 10th century, this incredible step well was a practical solution to the water problem in the area.

Agra, previously served for many years as the capital of the vast Mughal Empire. The city resides in India’s famed Golden Triangle, and draws tourists to the Taj Mahal and other historic sites that reflect Agra’s rich history.

In the evening, visit Mehtab Bagh to get a stunning view of the Taj  from across the Yamuna river.

Day 09:

Nothing compares to the surreal beauty of the Taj Mahal at sunrise, and we have the opportunity to witness this magical scene.  Step inside this eternal symbol of love and inspiration; explore the intricate mosaics, precious designs and perfect architectural symmetry of this iconic monument.

We can also explore Agra Fort and learn the history of this fascinating site which was the home of the Mughal Emperors and their many courtiers during Agra’s era as capital.

From here we will drive back to Delhi and stay at Claridges in preparation for the early morning flight the following day.

Day 10:

Morning and afternoon game drives in Bandhavgarh National Park.

Bandhavgarh supports one of the highest densities of tigers on the Subcontinent. Its hilly open terrain includes many large grassland meadows that offer good chances of sightings. The density of its big cat population has made Bandhavgarh world famous. The Park is also home to a large variety of mammals: leopard, chital (spotted deer), Sambar deer, nilgai, wild boar, chinkara, sloth bear, rhesus macaque, grey langur, jungle cat, hyena, porcupine, jackal, fox, and wild dog. Your stay includes morning and afternoon game drives in Bandhavgarh National Park.

Day 12:
Day 12 Singinawa Jungle Lodge - Kanha

Meal Plan: Full Board – Room Category: COTTAGE.

Drive to Kanha National Park (215km).

Kanha is one of India’s largest national parks, covering 1945 km², and is located in the Maikal Hills of the Satpura Hills range in the south eastern part of the state of Madhya Pradesh. The Park has beautiful areas of sal forests, large bamboo stretches and lush green meadows.

Day 13:
Day 13 Singinawa Jungle Lodge - Kanha

Morning and afternoon game drives in Kanha National Park.

Kanha is not only famous for its Tiger sightings, but also for the highly endangered central Indian race of the Swamp Deer or Barasingha. Once down to  less than 70, their population today is between 400-500 animals. Other herbivores found here are Chital, Sambar and the Muntjac, which along with Wild Boar form the main prey base for Tiger. Parts of Kanha are good habitat for the Dhole or Indian Wild Dog. Birdwatching here is nonetheless a rewarding experience. Of the species to be seen in the Park are the Crested Hawk Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle, Large Raquet-tailed Drongo, Paradise Flycatcher, Golden Oriole, several species of cuckoos, nightjars and owls. The grasslands are the habitat for birds like the Zitting Cisiticola, Jungle Prinias and Painted Partridge along with seed-eaters such as the various species of munia.

Day 14:
Day 14 Singinawa Jungle Lodge - Kanha

You have a final morning game drive in Kanha National Park ( circa 6 hours ) and then you can relax this afternoon before your travelling day tomorrow  or choose from one of the other activities available such as a visit to a local village or a walking or bicycle tour.

We just wanted to say thank you for such a great holiday. We had a tremendous time. I suspect you've already been told about Super Saturday, but we had a great time every day; lots of variety and very busy viewing. The group got on well and I think we all enjoyed it. We had lots of fun with Ian ensuring that he caught the front legs of lions in the correct  Kathryn position. The guide - Sam - was excellent. He really loved Super Saturday and will spend for ever telling his mates about it. He was on a huge roll!

First of all, thank you so much for taking on board our requirements and bolting this trip together. Your detail investigating Okakambe and the golf course is greatly appreciated. We have had a truly memorable time. I can’t believe we started planning this trip over a year ago and now we have done it! Cornerstone: David and Peter had a fun game of golf. A perfect start to the trip (and easy to find). Okakambe: I know I mailed about this but Eddi, Kathrin, the horses and everyone who looked after me made a lasting impression. Erongo: A perfect peaceful place for us to settle into the trip after my riding etc. The trails are a great way to explore. Okaukuejo: Amazing! We did have some fantastic game sightings from here. Namutoni: On the way here we had great sightings of a family of 13 elephants and much more. This end of the pan seemed greener and offered more opportunities for us. Okonjima: This place is a haven and captivating. The enthusiasm of the guides and people are an inspiration. We watched a pangolin being tagged one night and saw three white rhino whilst hiding behind a bush on foot!

We have been customers of Your Safari before and enjoyed a fantastic experience in Namibia, so when the opportunity came to take a tour with them to India on the quest for wild tigers, we jumped at it. Again the experience was fantastic. In conjunction with local guides we had a fantastic two weeks, taking in the cultural melting pot of Delhi, the elegance of Jaipur - including the imposing Amer Palace and the breath-taking majesty of the Taj Mahal. But of course the prime reason for the tour was the safari drives in the National Parks and this did not disappoint. We had excellent sightings of tigers in all three parks that we visited and took some great photographs. But there was so much more to see than tigers and we spent time in the forests observing the deer, the magnificent Gaur (largest bovines in the world), the fascinating behaviors of the Langur Monkeys and birds of all varieties, including eagles and vultures. As a special bonus, we also had sightings of the elusive Sloth Bear. India is an incredible country and you have to embrace the organised chaos at times. But the people are fantastic and friendly and we felt very safe throughout. All in all, another wonderful experience from Your Safari. (and next stop for us a self drive tour of British Columbia, arranged of course by... Your Safari.

We have had a fantastic trip, saw tons of wildlife and just wanted to say a big thank you for all your help. The baby in the zebra pic had been born on the road less than five minutes before we got there and Bob took this as it got up for the first time. One and a half hours later we saw it running with its mum to catch up to the herd. Magic! There were about 30 of these elephants at the water hole just as we arrived at Okaucuejo – they even came back for another show the next night - a bit before the two rhinos were squaring up for a tussle. We have so many great memories and are just getting 360, (of the 1500+ total we took), printed to make up an album. We absolutely loved walking at both Etendeka and Okonjima. We never thought you could get so close to a cheetah without being eaten alive!!! Bob got some lovely pictures of very relaxed cats! We are saving our pennies so we can go and do it all again.

After a year and a half of planning and building excitement we finally had our safari this November. It was everything and more than what we expected. From the initial contact with Kathryn, through all the planning, to the safari itself, everything went very smoothly, the accommodations were above and beyond , each one unique and interesting. We couldn't wait for the end of the day to see where we would be next! We toured Namibia plus did an animal safari which will be one of the highlights of our lives. To see wild beasts in their natural environment is truly something to treasure and appreciate. Our guides John and Jules Birch were so helpful from the minute they picked us up until they deposited us at our flight home . John's help and hints with photos enabled us to get some really great shots , his knowledge of the animals and their habits was invaluable in sightings. He and Jules were very caring and we had a lot of fun and laughs, we left as life time friends. I purchased a pair of small binoculars before we left and so happy I did. If you don't mind getting dirty, love adventure and fun and want a small group of people on your trip this is the company for you. When we return to Africa we will definitely be using Your Safari again
